survivor- the man.
ok.
chuck palahniuk is a walking brain, more so than a walking human.
the first book i read by him was lullaby.
the first movie i watched
that was adapted from his works was fight club.
fight club (the book) was fantastic; lullaby was so-so; not doing much justice.
and the book i am reading now is survivor. the second book.
its interesting and brillant. (death cult? tender, biddy. suicide operator hotline)
and its about to be adapted into a movie.
so are invisible monsters, choke.
its good news to someone who love his simple yet dynamic, retro, fresh style.
sometimes as i read his books, i feel as if its speaking to me from a deep dark part in my brain.
i am collecting all my heroes.
his satire on consumerism, the media industry, death, the bible ("the bible collapses sex and food alot.") and
the dark sides of life we are told not to say aloud,
are like food to famined famished me.
he is a writer edward norton.
go figure.
the flight recorder of 2039.
what i would say is,
"testing, testing. One, two, three.
testing, testing. One, two, three.
Maybe this is working. I don't know. If you can even hear me, I don't know."
